Starting with my late sister Corrine, who when going through her own struggles, I wanted to reach out and help her with words of encouragement through greeting cards. I found few cards that embodied the words and emotions that I wanted to express to her.

I found myself buying greeting cards and adding a little "sumptin' sumptin'" in my own words that I thought would help her deal with what she was going through at that time. My sister expressed that I should start my own card line. She felt that my words of encouragement would be a blessing to people.

In honor of my sister Corrine and in keeping with my own passions, Komfort Kards has been a blessing to those who I have had an opportunity to share them with. I have been able to create cards that have touched people at all points along this journey called life. I have given these cards away to people that I have met in passing over the years. They would keep the cards for themselves or give them to someone who they felt needed it more.
